Friendly staff and comfy rooms!

Staff were super welcoming and ready to help! We didn’t hit the bar much since we were out exploring, but they had karaoke nights which sounded fun. Our room was cozy and had a nice en-suite. Just wish they had more evening events for late comers. Definitely a comfy stay!

The room had great bathroom water pressure, but the pub atmosphere was overwhelming.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, and great amenities made our stay enjoyable. the free Wi-Fi in public areas and lovely en-suite were perfect for relaxing after exploring the city.

Everything was just right.

The room was basic but spotlessly clean, and the stairs were very narrow, making it unsuitable for elderly or disabled guests. The location was excellent, with a large, reasonably priced car park nearby, and a charming cafe across the street for quick breakfast options. While the bathroom was nicely decorated, staying for just one night felt adequate. I wouldn't wish to extend my stay due to the stair situation.

Family with children fantastic

It was a fantastic location, very clean room, towels provided the second day after request. The room was lovely and comfortable with a great bathroom, we even enjoyed live bands in the evening which was unexpected and made it special.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

During our recent stay, we found walking to Weymouth Harbour just a quick 2-minute stroll which made our evenings by the water so enjoyable, and the nearby Nothe Gardens offered beautiful views and a lovely place to relax just over a kilometer away, perfect for a peaceful afternoon after a long day of exploring.

This place was just a strong match for a two-day stay in Weymouth with high value for money. Getting a free drink while waiting for the room to be cleaned was a nice touch. Watch out for the noisy neighbors at night.

The room had a great shower, but the noise was unbearable all night.

i had a lovely stay at goldon lion! the double room was nicely decorated and very clean. the staff were friendly and happy to help with breakfast suggestions. the shower had great water pressure, and the beds were comfortable, making for a nice night’s sleep.

i stayed at golden lion for one night and had a blast. the room was huge with a nice bathroom. the location is fantastic, right across from a busy taxi office. the staff was friendly and made me feel welcome.
